We envision a community where everyone has access to the mental healthcare they need and deserve.

Outcomes That Hold After Discharge

Readmission Rate

Recovery should last beyond the program, and our readmission data shows it does. Completing treatment cuts the risk of needing readmission by roughly half: patients who finish their program are about half as likely to return. The pattern is straightforward and reinforcing: patients who stay in treatment longer are significantly more likely to complete it, and completion is what drives down readmission risk. This protective effect holds for men and women alike.

Completion Rates

Completion rates stay strong across the conditions we treat. Personality disorders reach a 62% completion rate, mood disorders 52%, and anxiety and stress disorders 50%. Notably, a borderline personality disorder diagnosis had no negative effect on whether patients completed treatment.

ANXIETY & STRESS DISORDER

Measurable Symptom Relief, Tracked From Day One

We measure progress with the DASS-21, a validated clinical assessment of depression, anxiety, and stress. Patients arrive with significant distress, and the average course of treatment moves them into normal ranges across all three measures.

Depression

The average patient entered treatment with a baseline score of 24.1, in the severe range. Scores dropped into the moderate range within the first month and the mild range by two months. By discharge, at roughly 2.5 months on average, depression scores had fallen nearly 20 points and reached the normal range.

Anxiety

Average baseline anxiety scores were 20.6, in the extremely severe range. Relief came fast, with scores falling about 11 points in the first month and continuing downward through month two. By discharge, the average patient’s anxiety was within the normal range.

Stress

Average baseline stress scores were 25.9, in the moderate range. Stress declined steadily and consistently throughout treatment, reaching the normal range by discharge.

How Recovery Unfolds Over Time

Each symptom area follows its own recovery curve, and understanding that shape helps set expectations for treatment. Anxiety tends to ease quickly at first, then taper more gradually. Depression moves the other way, with slower early gains that accelerate as treatment continues. Stress declines at a steady, linear pace from start to finish. Different paths, the same destination: by discharge, the average patient reaches the normal range on all three.
